We all know that photos can sometimes feel like an overwhelming task
“What should I wear? What if I (we) look awkward? Or what if the kids don't behave?” These are all valid concerns that can easily turn a person off to booking a session.. But here’s the thing.. Photos don't always have to be about getting that “perfect” shot.
If all that is sought after is perfection, we would end up missing those real and raw moments.
Let the kids run around and show off their goofy personalities.
Letting go of the control & allowing things to unfold naturally is where real memories are created & portrayed in the images. My goal is to document your genuine uniqueness, as a family, couple, or individual that sets you apart. I promise, together we can make that happen. Every laugh, glance, and little moment is an opportunity to tell your story authentically, and I love capturing those fleeting, heartfelt details. By creating a relaxed, comfortable experience, we can focus on what truly matters—your connection and the memories you’ll cherish forever.
How It Works
From inquiry to shooting
Send an inquiry! Once you have done this, I will get back to you within 1-2 business days with availability + information regarding your chosen session!
Time to plan! We will finalize a date & time that works best for you, as well as discuss location options/ideas you may have for your shoot. This can be done over email, phone call, or coffee!
At this time I will require a 50% non-refundable retainer to secure your date.
Ready to go! Now that the retainer is sent, that means I can officially add you to the calendar! Yay! I will reach out to you a few days before your shoot to confirm + finalize any details.

How many photos will we receive?
I don’t set a strict limit — I deliver all the best images from your session or wedding day! You can usually expect anywhere from 150+ for my smaller sessions and 1000+ for weddings, but ultimately depends on the type and length of the shoot.
When can we expect to receive our photos?
Typically, for wedding photos, they will be delivered within 8–12 weeks, depending on the season. For my regular sessions, the photos will be delivered within 2-4 weeks - again depending on the season.
Do you travel for sessions or weddings?
Absolutely! I love adventure and am happy to travel. Travel fees may apply depending on the location - For weddings within Alberta, there is no travel fee!
Can we get the raw/unedited files?
I totally get the curiosity, but I don’t deliver raw files. Part of the magic (okay, not magic — just skill + style!) is in the editing process that makes your photos truly feel like you.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings, I recommend booking at least 6–12 months in advance. For sessions, 4–6 weeks ahead is usually perfect — especially during busy seasons like Summer and Fall.
Can we include our pets or special items?
Of course! Pets and meaningful props make your photos even more personal.
What should we wear for our session?
I’m happy to give personalized advice to help you look and feel your best. Generally, simple, coordinated outfits without busy patterns work best! At the end of the day, my ultimate recommendation is to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and most like yourself - but I am here to help and give feedback.
What if we’re camera shy or don’t know how to pose?
No worries! I’m here to guide you through every step, keep things fun and relaxed, and capture the real you.
Do you offer prints or albums?
At this time, I do not offer custom albums or prints (but it is in the works). In saying that, my delivery system for your photos offers a vast range of prints and albums that you can create to preserve your memories in a tangible way.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date. For my regular sessions, the remaining balance is due the day before. For weddings, the remaining is due 20 days before.
Do you offer second shooters for wedding days?
Yes, I can definitely arrange for a second shooter to join us on your wedding day! They usually range from $50–$75 per hour, depending on availability. Since most second shooters also run their own businesses, it’s not always guaranteed, but I’m happy to look into it and make it happen if possible!
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens! I do my best to accommodate reschedules. Just give me as much notice as possible and we’ll figure it out together.
Do you edit blemishes or imperfections?
I do light retouching like removing blemishes or distractions, but I aim to keep your photos as natural and true to you as possible.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! I offer mini sessions a few times a year — usually around the holidays or in the fall. Keep an eye on Instagram to be the first to know when they launch.
